Replacing a clutch on a Geo Metro

I recently got a decent buy on a 1997 Geo Metro from a friend.
Now these cars are not a powerhouse by any means. This one has a
1 litre engine that puts out about 55 HP. So I don't have to worry
about guys wanting to drag race me at the lights.

I bought this 97 Geo for $200. The main reason being it needed a new clutch installed. Installing the clutch was easier than I thought it would be.
The biggest break I got was coming across a website where someone actually showed
step by step how it was done. They also included pictures. Here is the link to the process of installing a new clutch.

These Geo Metros are cool to work one since you have a lot of room under the hood.
Removing and actually installing the new clutch took around 6 hours from start to finish. The time also included a number of smoke breaks and some bullshiting with some buddies.

So far the Geo Metro seems good with its new clutch, pressure plate, release bearing, and pilot bearing. The clutch set cost me around $110 plus about $40 for new gear lube and some cans of brake cleaner for a total of $150.

I believe I got a good decent car now that get between 40-45 miles per gallon. So I will be chugging along with my uber cool $350 car.

Do you remember SARS? When the story broke about this outbreak in Canada, people were scared to travel or even be in Canada - especially Montreal.

The SARS epidemic was even spoofed on Sout Park in an episode called Red Man's Greed. Here it was discovered that the cure for SARS was Chicken Noodle Soup and Sprite.

You should listen to your mother when you are sick. The power of chicken soup can alleviate many symptoms of the common cold. Researchers have shown their is a link in the use of chicken soup to help someone who is suffering from flu related symptoms.

Besides, chicken soup tastes great too. I used to love those coffee machines that would also serves the chicken soup brothe. It wasn't thirst quenching but it was great for on a cold day.

So, when someone's unemployment runs out, they would actually help show that unemployment is down.
